Very nice room. Great location. If you are flying from T3, hotel is right there opposite M and S, which sells food and open till quite late. You can walk to T3 without the use of a lift which can get very, very busy. Take side door and walk across courtyard. We did not even turn on the tv this time or last time we stayed, it was not necessary as we were having a great time. This hotel has really nice bathrooms with lovely smelling shower gel and handwash - also, you can wash your travel clothes out and they will dry overnight, so a big help if you hand luggage only. Only place I want to stay in Heathrow from now on. I might go to Hilton Gardens again as you can see the runway from a distance at the side and they have a lovely skybar, but getting to T3 took ages from Hilton Gardens and we eventually carried our suitcases down the stairs last time, which was stressful. If you are a solo traveller, you feel safe there. Lounge should be a bit more inviting though, because it is very nice. Hilton Gardens for proper hotel room. Here for ease and simplicity getting to T3. The price for cans of drink in reception is cheaper than M and S. Only one cafe though, Cafe Nero, usually packed. Rooms are not good for anyone who has claustrophobia, but I really like them. I have stayed twice here now, once by myself for two nights and once with my son for one night. Staff have always been lovely.

It was exceptionally convenient after seeing a family member off at 10.30pm on a flight from terminal 3, eliminating a journey on a tube train at such a late hour, on my own. Staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient when checking in and out. The whole place was very quiet and clean. The room was a good size, with a large exceedingly comfortable double bed and plenty of room for my bag and wall space to hang my coat and clothes up on coat hangers (3). It was good to see a kettle, cups and complimentary tea and coffee, with sachets of sugar and milk. Also complimentary bottles of water. The TV provided some entertainment before bedtime, after a relaxing shower in the immaculately clean and well stocked, en suite, bathroom, equipped with soft white towels, hand and body wash and other essentials. I felt very safe and comfortable on my own and throughly enjoyed my stay. It was worth paying that bit more for such a convenient place to stay given my circumstances that evening, on my own.

1st visit was at the end of September to check out the hotel for when our 13 year old grandson was flying in on his own from Perth to London at the end of the year. The 1st room was a shoe box-bed against the wall, and so small for the price paid. But we had no choice as we needed to be by Gate 3 for meeting the Perth flight in December which arrived at 5am. Location was spot on. Second visit in December to stay and the bedroom was so much better. Able to walk around the bed and although still no window, it was nicely decorated and was much more comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were appreciated. We’ve kept the room number in a file and will request this room on future visits.

For a long overnight layover or early departure, it is perfect. We arrived late and left early for a connecting flight. The room was upscale modern with all new furnishings and bedding. It was amazingly quiet to be located at the end of an active airport terminal. Wonderful to wake up just 30 minutes before the time we needed to be in the terminal and not be concerned about traffic or other delays.

it’s location inside Heathrow Terminal 3 meant that we did not have to worry about any impact on the day of our flight from potential train, road etc strikes. The hotel’s insulation from people and aircraft noise was excellent.Being able to buy a couple of beers and a sandwich from reception and enjoy them in the comfort of the hotel library was a bonus.
